Full-Stack Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) Developer

About the role

BytesMind, the engineering force behind Katica, is seeking an ambitious Full‑Stack / Mobile Kotlin Developer. You will help shape a unified architecture that powers Katica’s escrow platform and client services across Android, iOS, and Web.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement shared logic modules using Kotlin Multiplatform, Ktor Client, SQLDelight, and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Build modern, responsive declarative UIs with Compose Multiplatform (or SwiftUI bridges for iOS).
• Integrate mobile and web apps with secure backend REST micro‑services, OAuth2/OIDC authentication, and payment gateways such as pawaPay and Mobile Money.
• Optimize local data persistence, state management (MVI/MVVM), and offline‑first capabilities.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Coroutines, Flow, Serialization) and the JVM ecosystem.
• Hands‑on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform, Ktor Client, or SQLDelight.
• Solid understanding of clean architecture, domain‑driven design, and asynchronous event processing.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and OAuth2 token handling.
• Nice to have: experience with Swift/SwiftUI, Docker, Spring Boot or Ktor Server.
