Health Field Site Manager

About the role

The Health Field Site Manager will lead daily operations of the International Medical Corps health project in the assigned area. The role oversees the field and health‑education teams, ensures activities meet budget and donor requirements, and guarantees compliance with national and international health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement health sector strategies in coordination with senior management.
• Supervise field health staff, community health teams, and service providers to achieve program goals.
• Ensure regular data collection, reporting to the Health Information System, and compliance with grant requirements.
• Coordinate logistics, procurement, and pharmacy support for clinics and mobile units.
• Lead technical oversight, including protocol development, training plans, and quality assurance.
• Manage budget projections, monitor expenditures, and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, pharmacy, medicine or a related health field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in health program management or coordination, preferably with NGOs.
• Master’s degree in public health or healthcare management is desirable.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations, refugee settings, and public health interventions.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative reporting capabilities.
• Budget management and financial analysis skills.
