Volunteer – Community Projects

About the role

We are seeking motivated volunteers to join DIBA Holistic Wellness Care’s new cohort in Buea, Cameroon. Volunteers will receive structured training on mental and behavioural health, holistic wellness, community engagement and project implementation, and will contribute to real‑world projects that improve community wellbeing. Volunteers will work on time‑bound, project‑based assignments with clear responsibilities and expectations, turning ideas into actionable plans that create impact.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive onboarding program covering topics such as mental health, safeguarding, project planning, documentation, communications, resource mobilisation and leadership.
• Support the planning, execution and reporting of community‑based projects in roles such as Project Lead, Team Member, Event Volunteer, Research & Documentation, Communications & Advocacy, Training or Community Engagement.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about learning, taking responsibility and following through on tasks.
• Interest or experience in community work, mental health, research, communications, digital media, events, training, administration, fundraising or creative activities.
