Industrial Relations Officer

About the role

The Industrial Relations Officer will act as a bridge between factory management and employees, ensuring a harmonious workplace, compliance with labour regulations, and effective grievance resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement labour relations strategies to promote collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and advise on regulatory matters.
• Address and resolve employee grievances and workplace disputes.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, training, and feedback mechanisms.
• Monitor labour relations KPIs and provide insights to management.
• Manage employee administration including attendance, leave, onboarding, and recruitment support.
• Coordinate workforce planning for permanent and temporary manpower.
• Maintain relationships with local authorities, law‑enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies.
• Facilitate communication among management, employees, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of experience in industrial or labour relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of labour law compliance and employee grievance handling.
• Experience in manufacturing or factory environments is preferred.
