Integrity Auditor (Freelance) – Regional focus East/West Africa, Asia or Latin America

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated freelance auditor to carry out integrity assessments for the 4C Integrity Program. The role covers regions in East and West Africa, Asia, or Latin America and focuses on traceability, social and environmental compliance within coffee and cocoa supply chains.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and conduct 4C integrity assessments at certified units, intermediaries and final buyers.
• Evaluate traceability, child labour, forced labour, working conditions, deforestation, biodiversity, soil conservation and pesticide use.
• Provide general support to 4C system users, including communication, meetings and document translation.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the 4C System and Integrity Program.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in certification, quality assurance, auditing or verification.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in agricultural production or a related field.
• Audit experience with certification schemes such as 4C, Rainforest Alliance, CAFÉ Practices or Global G.A.P.
• Experience in agricultural supply chains, especially coffee or cocoa.
• High proficiency in English and, where applicable, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Vietnamese.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
