IT Specialist – Technical Services

About the role

The Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF) is seeking an IT Specialist to join its Technical Services Division. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable internet connectivity, and supporting staff with hardware and software needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain constant internet supply across all ERuDeF offices.
• Ensure proper functioning and regular maintenance of staff computers, hardware, and software.
• Manage networks, develop software solutions, and administer databases.
• Research and introduce new information technology tools to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Director of Programme and Planning to secure funding for the IT department.
• Prepare monthly monitoring/evaluation reports for coordinated projects.
• Provide weekly briefs and monthly activity reports to the Director of Communication.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• First degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• At least two years of continuous work experience in an IT role.
• Experience working in a project‑management environment.
• Strong organisational, leadership, and communication abilities.
