National Coordinator – Cocoa Sector

About the role

The National Coordinator will drive the expansion of our client’s cocoa network across Cameroon, linking cooperatives and exporters to the company’s supply chain from farm to port. Reporting directly to the European directors, the role combines operational oversight, partnership development and on‑the‑ground coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and onboard new cooperative partners and agents, providing training and ongoing support.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing cooperatives, ensuring engagement and performance.
• Coordinate pre‑shipment sampling, quality control at cooperative sites, exporter warehouses and ports.
• Oversee contract negotiations and commercial documentation with partners.
• Support recruitment, payroll processing and performance tracking of field agents.
• Collect, verify and report supplier and field data to ensure data quality and timely insights.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3‑5 years of experience at the intersection of technology and operations, preferably in mobile money, micro‑finance or similar network‑building environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Cameroon and work on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile and web tools for data collection and communication.
