Portfolio Manager - Digital Payments

About the role

The Portfolio Manager will lead client engagements on a Digital Payments Portfolio Management Platform, ensuring adoption, campaign execution and measurable growth for financial institutions across Central Africa. This 12‑month contract position is based onsite in Yaoundé and works closely with stakeholders in Cameroon, Congo DRC, Senegal and Mali.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for active platform engagements, handling client requests, usage monitoring and adoption follow‑up.
• Design, develop and launch end‑to‑end CLM campaigns, including segmentation, planning, launch readiness and post‑campaign review.
• Define KPIs, track campaign performance, prepare analytics and present ROI to senior client stakeholders.
• Identify adoption gaps, coach clients to become power users and support annual subscription renewals.
• Build data‑driven business cases to justify marketing spend and future platform expansion.
• Coordinate across multiple markets, respecting local priorities, language needs and client maturity levels.

Required profile

• Strong experience in customer value management within telecom, banking, fintech or payments.
• Proven end‑to‑end campaign management from strategy to performance reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with campaign automation, CRM or customer engagement platforms.
• Ability to interpret data, develop business cases and influence complex client environments.
