Program Manager – Cameroon

About the role

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking a Program Manager to lead the operationalisation of IFC2030 in Cameroon. Based in Douala, you will be responsible for driving the country’s investment and advisory portfolio and delivering growth through new opportunities and enhanced impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously refine IFC’s multi‑year country strategy for Cameroon, aligning market development, sector priorities and business targets.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with government agencies, private‑sector clients, regulators, development partners and civil‑society organisations.
• Coordinate joint initiatives with World Bank Group institutions, MIGA and other multilateral or bilateral partners.
• Oversee the investment and advisory pipeline, ensuring rigorous project selection, structuring, supervision and impact measurement.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of investment, advisory and support staff, fostering collaboration with regional directors and executive leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale development programmes or investment portfolios in emerging markets.
• Strong understanding of private‑sector development, finance and advisory services.
• Fluent in English and French, with excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment and deliver results against ambitious targets.
