Program Manager

About the role

ECOM Cameroon Commodities is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of its field programs across Cameroon. This field‑based position involves regular travel to project sites and direct engagement with farmers, rural communities, partners, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed program work plans and activities.
• Coordinate field teams to ensure effective execution of program tasks.
• Monitor progress, deliverables, timelines, and budgets, providing regular updates to management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, communities, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular field visits to assess implementation, address challenges, and collect performance data.
• Prepare comprehensive program reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Identify operational challenges and devise practical solutions.
• Support training and capacity‑building initiatives for field teams and beneficiaries.
• Collaborate with finance, logistics, procurement, and other departments as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in agriculture, commodities, or rural development.
• Proven ability to coordinate field teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strong planning, reporting, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work independently in rural environments.
• Fluent in both English and French, verbally and in writing.
