About the role
We are looking for a results‑driven Sales Representative to boost revenue in the hospitality sector. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate clients, managing existing relationships, and supporting the hotel’s growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and long‑stay guests.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Conduct sales presentations, site inspections and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and sales campaigns.
- Record all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to spot new opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows and networking functions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field.
- 1–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in hotels, restaurants or related hospitality businesses.
- Background in hotel management or hospitality sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Residency in Yaoundé or willingness to relocate.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with CRM software.
What we offer
- Starting salary of 100,000 XAF.
