About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our hospitality team in Yaoundé. The role focuses on driving revenue growth by acquiring new corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and long‑stay guests while nurturing existing relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Identify, approach, and secure new corporate and B2C clients in the hospitality sector.
- Conduct sales presentations, site inspections, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with marketing to produce promotional materials and sales campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends and competitor actions to uncover new opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of proven sales experience, preferably within hotels, restaurants or event‑based businesses.
- Existing network of contacts in the hospitality or corporate travel sector is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must reside in Yaoundé or be willing to relocate.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience using CRM software.
