Senior Data Analyst – Health Data & Systems

About the role

The Senior Data Analyst will provide technical leadership for the collection, management, analysis, and visualization of program and health information across MSH projects in Cameroon. Working closely with project leaders, technical teams, government partners and implementing partners, the analyst ensures data are accurate, complete, timely and ready for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve project databases, datasets, data collection tools and information management systems.
• Consolidate data from project teams, health facilities, government systems and partners, and verify accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Design and apply data quality assurance protocols, validation checks and reporting guidance.
• Analyze program, health service and supply‑chain data to identify trends, gaps and risks.
• Create and maintain dashboards, charts, maps and other visualizations for management and technical audiences.
• Prepare analytical summaries, presentations and reports for leadership, donors and partners.
• Support strengthening of national and project health information systems, including DHIS2.
• Collaborate with government counterparts and partners to improve data availability and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in data analysis, data management and health information systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
