Senior Director of Food & Nutrition

About the role

The Senior Director of Food & Nutrition leads Morrison Healthcare’s dining services, overseeing daily foodservice operations, client relationships, profitability, and talent development across a large network of hospitals and health systems.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the department within the approved budget while delivering maximum client value.
• Ensure superior quality of all food offerings.
• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and internal departments.
• Promote professional growth and development of the entire team.
• Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate dining services with overall facility operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of proven leadership experience.
• Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing control.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience (desirable).
• ServSafe® certification is a plus.
• Forward‑thinking, proactive attitude with strong client‑facing presence.
