Senior Representative - Executive Accounts Manager Public Sector

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead our public‑sector accounts within the Enterprise Business Unit of MTN Cameroon. The role combines strategic client acquisition, relationship management and operational oversight to drive growth and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new public‑sector clients across designated regions, travelling to meet prospects and present MTN solutions.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers, interpreting their requirements and ensuring delivery of appropriate MTN products.
• Lead team meetings, contribute specialist knowledge and monitor performance metrics dashboards.
• Manage day‑to‑day operational issues, escalations and adhoc meetings in coordination with the Centre of Excellence (CoE) and operating company (OpCo).
• Participate in project status and operational meetings, propose changes and assess user impact.
• Report progress and challenges to the line manager, ensuring targets and deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior account management or sales within the telecom or public‑sector environment.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities, with a focus on self‑learning and development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle escalations effectively.
