Site Civil Engineer (Douala)

About the role

ECO-Concepts is seeking a full‑time Site Civil Engineer to lead civil works on a construction project in Douala. You will ensure that all activities comply with design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations while supporting the overall project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with project managers, architects, and contractors on site.
• Review and interpret civil and structural drawings and technical specifications.
• Supervise earthworks, foundations, drainage systems, and storm‑water management installations.
• Monitor material quality, conduct inspections, and prepare detailed site reports.
• Support geotechnical evaluations and contribute to construction planning and scheduling.
• Resolve technical issues promptly while controlling cost, time, and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary civil‑engineering teams on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of storm‑water management, drainage design, and erosion‑control measures.
• Familiarity with structural and geotechnical concepts, including foundations and soil behavior.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
