Solution Architect - Next Gen Integration

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Architect specialized in next‑generation integration to shape the architecture of our client’s digital platforms, mobile applications, and API ecosystem. The role is a 5‑month contract based in Cameroon, reporting to the Head of Technology & Information Security.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑level and low‑level designs for mobile‑first initiatives and backend services, aligned with enterprise and security frameworks.
• Design scalable API, middleware, and event‑driven integration patterns linking digital channels with the Enterprise Wallet Platform and third‑party partners.
• Provide technical steering, architectural sign‑offs, and ensure DevOps, CI/CD, and non‑functional requirements are met.
• Define and maintain the digital channel roadmap, promote modular micro‑services, and reduce technical debt.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or architecture.
• At least 5 years in FinTech, mobile money, digital banking, or mobile‑first platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solution Architect, or ITIL are a plus.

Required skills

• Mobile app architecture for Android and iOS.
• Microservices, API management, and event‑driven architecture.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Architecture modelling: UML, ArchiMate, TOGAF.
• DevOps pipelines, CI/CD practices.
