AI Trainer – LLM & Generative AI Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AI Trainer to help develop and refine large language models and generative AI systems. You will work remotely with a global team, designing training workflows, creating high‑quality datasets, and analysing model performance across diverse tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage end‑to‑end training pipelines, including supervised fine‑tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF).
• Develop complex prompt templates and testing scenarios for coding, creative writing, reasoning, and multilingual tasks.
• Define and maintain rubrics to assess model output quality and document findings.
• Analyse model failures, identify sources of bias, hallucination, or logical errors, and propose corrective actions.
• Create “golden datasets” that set performance standards for specific domains.
• Guide junior trainers and annotators, ensuring consistency and high standards.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product managers to translate research goals into actionable training tasks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and suggest improvements to annotation tools and evaluation platforms.
• Design strategies for generating synthetic data to augment training sets and improve robustness.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical field such as software engineering or computer science.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex problems and articulate abstract concepts.
• Comfortable reading technical papers and staying up‑to‑date with AI safety research.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to shift between highly technical tasks (e.g., code ranking) and creative tasks (e.g., fiction writing).
