AI Voice Recording Contributor - French (Cameroon)

About the role

RWS is looking for AI Voice Recording Contributors to take part in a French (Cameroon) voice evaluation project that helps develop the next generation of AI technologies. This is a freelance, remote project of about one month, starting immediately, with flexible, task-based work of around 4-6 hours per day. The rate is 10 USD per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Read provided text cards aloud and record them exactly as written (about 640 cards per person).
• Produce clear, natural, high-quality speech following the given guidelines.
• Speak in your natural dialect and accent, without adding, omitting or altering words.
• Re-record submissions if requested to meet quality standards.
• Use the internal recording platform to complete the tasks.

Required profile

• Native-level fluency in French (Cameroon) with authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the target dialect or accent.
• Advanced English to understand written instructions, and the ability to complete a trial recording.
• No imitation of dialects or accents that are not your own.
• Experience with speech recording projects is an advantage but not required.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
