About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance at the Kirksville location. This full‑time role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining visual standards across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets, inventory, and financial performance.
• Develop and execute action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume full store responsibility in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate personnel; provide guidance to employees and customers.
• Monitor sales statistics, expenses, and inventory movement to ensure profitability.
• Maintain high‑quality customer service and promote merchandise and services.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
