Computer Vision Annotator – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a remote Computer Vision Annotator to create high-quality labeled datasets that power object detection, segmentation, tracking and other visual AI models. The role involves precise annotation of images, video and 3‑D sensor data using industry‑standard tools.

Key responsibilities

• Draw accurate bounding boxes, polygons, polylines and key‑point markers on image and video frames.
• Create 3‑D cuboids and annotate point‑cloud or LiDAR data for autonomous‑vehicle and robotics projects.
• Perform semantic and instance segmentation to label every pixel in an image.
• Interpret complex labeling taxonomies, resolve ambiguous cases and refine guidelines with data scientists.
• Use advanced features of CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer or Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth to improve workflow efficiency.
• Identify edge cases, potential biases and provide feedback to engineering teams.
• Assist with basic data preparation tasks such as resizing images and synchronising timestamps.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in computer‑vision data annotation or quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high precision across repetitive tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with annotation platforms: CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer, Supervisely, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Experience with bounding‑box, polygon, key‑point, 3‑D cuboid and segmentation‑mask techniques.
• Familiarity with LiDAR, point‑cloud data and basic data‑preparation utilities.
