About the role
Nestlé Cameroun is looking for a Demand Planner who will develop, maintain and continuously improve a demand plan for a portfolio of products and customers. The role ensures alignment with internal and external partners through Monthly Business Planning and Collaborative Planning processes, and drives the company’s ability to sense and respond to market changes.
Key responsibilities
- Collect information and assumptions related to promotions, product launches, and distribution changes that impact demand.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage product lifecycle events such as new launches, packaging changes, phase‑in/phase‑out, and discontinuations.
- Generate statistical forecasts using an open‑source forecasting tool and maintain volume data in SAP.
- Drive consensus during the Monthly Business Planning process to produce a unified demand plan that feeds the dynamic forecast.
- Monitor performance, identify exceptions, and implement improvements to forecast accuracy.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of operational experience at market or business level in areas such as sales, key‑account management, supply planning or finance.
- Analytical and proactive mindset with strong communication skills in English and French.
- Experience in a commercial role or a strong understanding of sales processes is highly recommended.
