Driver for UNDP in Cameroon

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Cameroon seeks a reliable driver to support its operations in the North‑West and South‑West regions. The role involves providing safe transport for staff, officials, and visitors, as well as handling related administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Drive UNDP office vehicles for the transport of staff, high‑ranking officials, visitors, and for delivery or collection of mail and documents.
• Meet personnel and visitors at the airport and assist with visa and customs formalities when required.
• Maintain accurate daily vehicle logs and contribute data for vehicle maintenance planning.
• Perform routine vehicle upkeep, including oil changes, tire checks, brake inspections, washing, and ensuring the vehicle is equipped with insurance, first‑aid kit, spare parts, and necessary documentation.
• Report minor repairs promptly and arrange major repairs as needed.
• Ensure cost‑effective use of the vehicle in line with UNDP policies.
