Egocentric Video Data Collector (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The captured videos will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. Work is fully remote and flexible, allowing you to record in your own home or workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Wear a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses to capture POV video of routine tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and other daily activities.
• Follow strict technical guidelines, including stable lighting, landscape orientation, specific resolution (1080p at 30/60 FPS), and camera angles.
• Upload raw, unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within the agreed timeframe.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and re‑record clips if they do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone with a high‑quality camera.
• Ability to work independently and commit to delivering 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recording rules (hands visible, no mirrors or reflections, steady framing).
• Privacy‑conscious: ensure no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data are captured.

• Proficient use of smartphone camera for high‑resolution video recording.
• Basic understanding of video file handling and upload processes.
