Electrical / Electronic Estimator

About the role

You will join a professional engineering and installation contractor where you will be taught essential electrical estimating and pricing skills. The company seeks motivated young engineers ready to meet tender deadlines and develop long‑term project‑management careers.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate the scope of work during tender preparation.
• Analyse technical drawings, specifications and Bill of Quantities to ensure completeness.
• Prepare Requests for Information when additional clarification is required.
• Develop cost estimates for manpower, materials, tools, equipment and mobilisation based on project documents.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor documentation and propose value‑engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with the scheduler to assist in construction schedule creation.
• Support the procurement process through purchase‑order issuance and material verification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of field experience with MEP systems, preferably in data‑centre or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work under tight deadlines and long hours.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• AutoCAD (advantage).
• Technical drawing interpretation.
