About the role
You will join a professional engineering and installation contractor, gaining hands‑on mechanical estimating and pricing experience while supporting tender deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Review and validate scope of work during tender processes.
- Analyse technical drawings, specifications and BoQ to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare Requests for Information when clarification is needed.
- Estimate construction quantities, manpower, materials, tools, equipment and mobilisation for HVAC, piping and plumbing installations.
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor documents and develop value‑engineering proposals.
- Coordinate with schedulers to produce construction schedules and support procurement through to PO issuance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of field experience with MEP systems, preferably in data‑centre or industrial projects.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Basic AutoCAD experience (advantage).
