About the role
The Emergency Response Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of the “Localised RRM” emergency response project in Cameroon’s Northwest region. Reporting to the Access, Safety & Base Manager, the role ensures high‑quality delivery, monitors partner performance and manages contractual and accountability aspects.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, launch and monitor project activities according to the approved work plan.
- Organise kick‑off, regular follow‑up and closing meetings with the two national NGO partners.
- Oversee the quality implementation of the Localised RRM project, ensuring compliance with DRC standards.
- Monitor and strengthen the capacity of partner NGOs in project management, reporting and financial controls.
- Manage contractual, control and accountability processes, including reporting, budgeting and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with DRC country office, regional hubs and other stakeholders to ensure coherent emergency response.
Required profile
- Proven experience in coordinating humanitarian or emergency response projects.
- Strong ability to work with national NGOs and manage multi‑partner arrangements.
- Excellent organisational and monitoring skills, with attention to contractual compliance.
- Ability to work under the supervision of senior management and report on project progress.
