About the role

Compass Healthcare is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a dining account in Abilene, TX. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality meals while ensuring safety, sanitation, and cost efficiency across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of culinary associates.
• Oversee all safety and sanitation standards for the account.
• Control food costs and monitor expenditures.
• Plan, develop, and execute menus that meet client needs.
• Purchase supplies, manage inventory, and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to launch new programs.

Required profile

• Culinary degree preferred.
• Three to five years of culinary management experience.
• Proven experience in high‑volume production and catering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cost controls.
• Willingness to grow within a leading foodservice organization.
