About the role
PIL is seeking a proactive External Sales Representative to expand its presence in Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and driving revenue growth for a leading global carrier.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop a pipeline of potential clients across the assigned territories.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activity and emerging trends.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and relationship management.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
- Provide regular performance reports to management.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, transportation or insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Fluent in English and French with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience using CRM software.
