About the role
This 6‑month internship supports UNICEF Cameroon’s Adolescent and Gender Programme in developing the Girls’ Rights Agenda. The position is open to Cameroon nationals and is based in Yaoundé.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in compiling inputs, formatting documents and tracking activities for the Girls’ Agenda.
- Support coordination with civil society organisations, NGOs and youth groups.
- Maintain simple tracking tools such as contact lists and activity logs.
- Provide administrative support for programme meetings and events.
Required profile
- Cameroon national, currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant university programme.
- Strong interest in gender equality, adolescent development and child rights.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
