Learning and Development Senior Specialist

About the role

Maersk is seeking a senior professional to lead Learning and Development initiatives across its West African operations. You will partner with regional and global stakeholders to design, deliver, and evaluate programs that enhance employee capabilities and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the L&D strategy and roadmap aligned with organisational objectives.
• Conduct competency assessments, identify gaps, and define learning requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver learning programs in collaboration with global L&D teams and subject‑matter experts.
• Facilitate onboarding, upskilling, and reskilling initiatives for Area CX teams.
• Establish performance evaluation methods to measure knowledge transfer and business impact.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and encourage adoption of development programs.
• Manage learning communications, content repositories, and related budget activities.

Required profile

• Continuous‑improvement mindset with a track record of sustainable enhancements.
• Proven experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Capability Building.
• Strong ability to design engaging learning content.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple functions.
