Learning Centre Coordinator (Mu'a & Sopu)

About the role

The Welfare and Self-Reliance Department is hiring two Learning Centre Coordinators for the Mu'a Meetinghouse and Sopu, Kolomatua Stake in Tonga. This entry‑level, fixed‑term position supports the Church’s mission of spiritual and temporal growth by providing a welcoming learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide multi‑function support to Learning Centre operations.
• Carry out assigned tasks under the guidance of the supervisor and manager.
• Assist in creating a welcoming, uplifting environment for learners.
• Perform general administrative and support duties.
• Contribute to the mission of fostering self‑reliance, covenant keeping, and Christ‑like love.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Required profile

• A recognised tertiary degree is preferred, or active enrolment in tertiary studies such as BYU‑Pathway Worldwide, or recent graduate status.
• Relevant experience in a related field.
• Industry‑recognized certifications where applicable.
• A heart for service and willingness to learn under supervision.
• Proof of legal right to work in Tonga.
• A police background check may be required.
