Premium Cash Assistant

About the role

Wave is building a cashless Africa and needs a dedicated Premium Cash Assistant to support customers and agents in Cameroon. You will be the first point of contact, handling daily cash reconciliation and liquidity needs for premium agencies in Garoua, Maroua or Kousseri.

Key responsibilities

• Assist agents with deposits, withdrawals and liquidity balancing.
• Provide guidance on Wave products, account opening, app usage and physical card services.
• Maintain accurate daily reconciliation of premium points.
• Record all cash management transactions in the treasury system.
• Request funds promptly to ensure smooth rebalancing with agents and clients.
• Report discrepancies, challenges and counterfeit bills to the Premium Cash Officer and leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management or cash handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in French; English and a local language are a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, vigilant and high integrity.
