Product Owner – Agile Software Development

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Product Owner with a strong interest in technology to lead the delivery of high‑quality software products. You will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to shape product vision and ensure successful releases.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the overall product and maintain a clear product vision.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Elicit and document functional and non‑functional requirements from customers, stakeholders and research.
• Assess technical feasibility and estimate effort for new requirements.
• Collaborate with developers on software design and produce documentation, flowcharts, and diagrams.
• Build, prioritize and groom the product backlog with well‑defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Accept completed stories, demonstrate iterations to customers and gather feedback.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes; certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• UML modeling.
• Design and implementation of APIs and services using REST and SOAP.
• Project management tools such as GitLab and JIRA.
• Background in software development (preferred).
• Experience with payment systems (a plus).
