Regional Lead – Agent Network & Growth

About the role

Wave is looking for a Regional Lead to drive agent network acquisition and user growth across a designated region in Cameroon. Reporting to the Country Launcher, you will supervise Field Officers, coordinate with agent admin teams, and ensure operational targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new agents according to selection criteria, ensuring contracts and training are completed.
• Oversee agent activation, KYC/AML training, supply delivery, and outlet branding.
• Manage liquidity availability at agents in partnership with Liquidity and Quality teams.
• Monitor agent performance, conduct routine visits, and address compliance issues.
• Handle agent churn, recover equipment, and remove branding material as needed.
• Lead a team of Field Officers and field‑based promoters to recruit new users and boost product adoption.
• Develop growth strategies, analyze field data, and make data‑driven distribution decisions.
• Ensure brand consistency across all agent locations and maintain high service standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing agent networks or user acquisition in Cameroon, including 2 years leading field teams.
• Proven experience overseeing up‑country agent activities and prior launch experience (desired).
• Work authorization for Cameroon.
