Regional Supply Chain Advisor (10 openings)

About the role

The Regional Supply Chain Advisor provides technical leadership to strengthen health commodity supply chains across multiple regions in Cameroon. Reporting to the Technical Director, the Advisor works closely with regional health authorities, district officials, health facilities, warehouses and implementing partners to improve availability, inventory management, data visibility and last‑mile delivery of HIV/AIDS, malaria and other priority commodities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MSH technical assistance to enhance regional supply chain systems.
• Support regional authorities in collecting, reviewing and validating health facility orders.
• Prepare, validate and use inventory, stock‑status, consumption and distribution reports.
• Monitor regional forecasting and quantification assumptions and identify emerging supply risks.
• Revitalize regional supply chain coordination mechanisms, including planning meetings and action tracking.
• Plan and conduct regional supply chain and data‑quality assessments, analyze findings and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical assistance to optimize warehouse capacity and strengthen inventory management processes.

Required profile

• Experience working with public health supply chains, preferably in Cameroon or similar contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with government counterparts, health facilities and partners.
• Strong analytical mindset and capacity to translate data into actionable improvements.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for training and supervision.
