Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Store Manager leads the daily operations of a Hibbett Retail location in Kirksville, ensuring a profitable, efficient, and customer‑focused environment. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, you will drive sales performance, uphold company policies, and represent the brand with professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve store sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
• Oversee all store departments, monitoring sales statistics, inventory, and expenses.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate sales associates, assistant managers, and managers‑in‑training.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and labor goals to control operating costs.
• Partner with Asset Protection to safeguard merchandise and reduce shrink.
• Communicate inventory movements and marketing initiatives with the District Sales Manager.
• Maintain store security, internal controls, and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail store management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of sales, inventory, and expense management.
