TB Diagnostic Network Coordinator – LEAP Global (Cameroon)

About the role

The TB Diagnostic Network Coordinator will work with the national tuberculosis program to strengthen diagnostic services and laboratory networks, ensuring alignment with U.S. Department of State directives and international health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support for the implementation of the national strategic plan for TB diagnostics and laboratory networks.
• Assist the Ministry of Health and national reference laboratories in improving diagnostic quality and expanding network coverage.
• Identify implementation challenges, propose solutions, and coordinate technical assistance with the Global Fund and other partners.
• Collaborate with the U.S. Department of State Health Foreign Assistance Unit and contribute to routine reporting.
• Work onsite within the Ministry of Health under the guidance of the National TB Program Manager.

Required profile

• Experience in public‑health programs, preferably in tuberculosis control.
• Familiarity with national health systems and government‑level coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with international donors and agencies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of TB diagnostic technologies and laboratory network management.
