Trade Counter Assistant – Customer Service & Stock Role

About the role

As a member of the Trade Counter team in Bayswater, you will assist engineers, project managers and other tradespeople in obtaining the plumbing and civil products they need for major projects, while helping keep the branch operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and product information in person and over the phone.
• Prepare and deliver quotes to customers.
• Pick, pack and manage stock, ensuring accurate inventory.
• Maintain a tidy, safe branch environment.
• Make occasional deliveries using a company vehicle.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information accuracy.
• Comfortable using a computer and learning new systems.
• Clean, valid driver’s licence and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Desire to develop a career within the company or broader network.
