Wholesale Interconnect & Roaming Manager

About the role

The Wholesale Interconnect & Roaming Manager will lead commercial relationships with national and international operators and value‑added service providers. The role focuses on maximizing revenue and margins through effective negotiation, implementation, and settlement of interconnect and roaming agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and implement interconnect agreements with local and international carriers, ensuring timely settlements and payments.
• Negotiate and implement roaming agreements with GSM operators, managing settlements and payments.
• Submit and negotiate annual interconnect catalogues with the regulator.
• Drive performance against interconnect and roaming targets and propose initiatives to exceed them.
• Secure better rates through negotiations with all partners.
• Reconcile traffic with partners and validate final figures against agreed discrepancies.
• Monitor market trends in interconnect, international traffic, and roaming, recommending strategies to boost revenue and profit.
• Support anti‑fraud efforts in international traffic and suggest appropriate actions.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term strategic plans, overseeing pricing compliance and solution delivery.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in telecom interconnect and roaming.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Detail‑oriented approach to traffic reconciliation and settlement processes.
