Accountant – Finance & Administration Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, result‑driven Finance Professional to head our Finance & Administration function. The role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, taxation, working‑capital management and overall financial control for a dynamic organization operating in manufacturing, trading, FMCG or construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present weekly, monthly and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Conduct bank, stock and inter‑company reconciliations and ensure accurate ERP postings.
• Develop annual and periodic budgets, perform variance analysis and enforce budgetary controls.
• Coordinate tax filings, payments and ensure statutory compliance; liaise with auditors.
• Manage daily cash flow, banking operations, payments and collections.
• Supervise inventory verification, import costing and pricing strategies.
• Maintain fixed‑asset register, insurance renewals and risk‑mitigation measures.
• Oversee payroll processing and lead finance team performance management.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance) or CA Inter preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, FMCG or construction sectors is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Tally ERP and Odoo.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
