Accountant – Manufacturing Facility (Cameroon)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations at our manufacturing facility in Cameroon. The role will handle the full accounting cycle, ensure statutory compliance and work closely with internal teams to deliver accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and manage entries up to finalization.
• Process vendor invoices, payments and perform Accounts Payable reconciliations.
• Issue customer invoices, track collections and perform Accounts Receivable reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Handle tax filings and statutory financial documentation in line with local regulations.
• Assist in audits by providing required financial data.
• Coordinate with finance and admin teams to improve accounting accuracy.
• Monitor factory‑related expenses, inventory accounting and cost records.
• Support additional administrative and finance‑related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Fluency in Hindi and English (spoken and written).
• Experience in African or international accounting environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as ERP, Tally or SAP.
