Sales Representative – Tires (Douala)

About the role

Join a leading distributor in Central Africa as a Sales Representative focused on tires for the Hardware Department. You will be responsible for expanding market presence, driving revenue, and ensuring strong customer coverage in Douala and its outskirts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and convert new clients such as shops, garages, fleets, and distributors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to secure repeat orders.
• Present product offerings, negotiate prices and commercial terms while protecting company margins.
• Achieve quantitative and qualitative sales targets set by management.
• Prepare regular activity reports and share market intelligence on competitor pricing and promotions.
• Track customer accounts receivable and follow internal order and collection procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Management.
• 3‑5 years of field sales experience, preferably in the automotive tire or technical hardware sector.
• Valid Category B driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within Douala.
• Strong autonomy, results‑orientation, and professional integrity.
• Fluency in French; English is an asset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of different tire types and brands.
• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM or sales‑management software.
