Account Payable & General Ledger Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Account Payable & General Ledger Officer to manage payment processing, ledger maintenance, and month‑end activities within a dynamic finance team. The role involves close collaboration with vendors and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process supplier invoices, petty cash reimbursements, and credit‑card settlements, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Accurately input transactions into the SIMPRO system and synchronize data with XERO, including verification of tax invoices.
• Act as liaison between vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and guarantee timely payments.
• Prepare routine journal entries for accruals, pre‑payments, depreciation and other balance‑sheet adjustments during month‑end closing.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between SIMPRO and XERO, investigating and resolving variances promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics.
• At least 3 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in the construction or foreign‑investment sector.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong ethical standards and understanding of financial regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team.
