Accountant – Manufacturing Facility (Cameroon)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our manufacturing facility in Cameroon. The role will support day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and full statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and manage journal entries through finalization.
• Handle Accounts Payable: process vendor invoices, payments and perform reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Receivable: issue customer invoices, track collections and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage tax filings and statutory financial documentation in line with local regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required financial data.
• Coordinate with finance and administration teams to improve accounting accuracy.
• Monitor factory‑related expenses, inventory accounting and cost records.
• Support broader administrative and finance‑related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Fluency in Hindi and English, both spoken and written.
• Prior exposure to African or international accounting environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as ERP, Tally or SAP.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently.
