Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Full-time, Yaoundé

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead BV HOLDINGS PLC from its headquarters in Yaoundé, driving the strategic direction across gold, agriculture and luxury real estate portfolios. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a visionary leader who can balance financial performance, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance while representing the company on the global stage.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the overall strategic plan for the group’s multi‑sector investments.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring financial results, operational efficiency and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Lead the executive team, approve business plans and budgets, and guide major investment decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, partners, and key stakeholders, representing the company in high‑level negotiations.
• Drive business development, sales initiatives, innovation and a culture of accountability and ethical conduct.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in finance, including investment analysis, capital allocation and financial risk management.
• Proven experience in operations management across multiple sectors.
• Demonstrated ability in business and strategic planning, setting long‑term goals and translating them into actionable plans.
• Successful track record in sales and commercial leadership, preferably within investment, real estate or related fields.
• Extensive executive leadership experience, ideally as a CEO or senior manager in finance, investment or asset management.
• Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• High ethical standards, integrity and a commitment to sustainable, responsible investment practices.
