Country Manager – Ride‑hailing & Mobility

About the role

Yiino Corporation seeks an experienced Country Manager to lead its ride‑hailing and mobility business in Cameroon. You will act as the strategic bridge between Yiino and key local stakeholders, driving growth, partnerships, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial and strategic planning for the Cameroon market and ensure successful implementation.
• Define, implement, and continuously optimise local business and operational strategies with the operations team.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a high‑performing team across the country.
• Promote Yiino’s brand and services by engaging with regulators, government officials, and local communities.
• Expand Yiino’s presence, establishing partnerships with fleet owners and relevant businesses.
• Identify local trends, risks, and improvement opportunities that could impact the business.
• Collaborate with HQ functions (Product, Legal, Marketing, Analytics, etc.) to launch growth‑driving initiatives.
• Ensure alignment and active cooperation between local operations and HQ to meet business targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in operations management or a general management role.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills in both French and English.
• Resilient, data‑driven mindset with excellent analytical abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related analytical discipline.
• Passion for new technologies, ride‑hailing, and mobility transport.
• Hands‑on ownership attitude and ability to develop business frameworks.
