Field Auditor

About the role

Wave is building cashless financial services across Africa and needs a Field Auditor to monitor its premium agency network. You will travel to agencies, perform cash audits, investigate discrepancies and help improve operational risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to designated premium agencies on a regular basis and conduct cash audits.
• Investigate discrepancies, report shortcomings and follow up on debt reimbursements.
• Execute controls outlined in the control plan and contribute to security and operational risk maps.
• Train cashiers on procedures, raise fraud awareness and investigate operational incidents.
• Participate in risk analysis for new agencies, projects, and pre‑financing decisions.
• Ensure agency staff comply with the code of conduct and perform end‑of‑year cash inventories.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and good command of English.
• 2+ years of university‑level experience in finance or accounting, with experience handling high cash volumes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in field work, service‑quality assessment or data collection is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
