Field Sales Specialist / Business Developer

About the role

Dicalo Consulting Group (DCG), an advisory firm founded in 2020 offering accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax, financial modeling, business setup and internal controls, is hiring a Field Sales Specialist / Business Developer. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Douala, focused on finding new business, building client relationships and promoting the firm's advisory and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and promote DCG's services to prospective and existing clients.
• Prospect and generate leads, and conduct client meetings and presentations.
• Understand client needs and prepare tailored proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with market demand and manage the sales pipeline.
• Track performance metrics, provide high-quality customer service, gather market feedback and contribute to sales strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, including clear presentation, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient customer service skills to build trust and ensure client satisfaction.
• Demonstrated sales and lead generation skills, with experience prospecting, qualifying leads and closing deals.
• Prior experience in B2B sales, business development or professional services is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively and meet targets.
• Solid understanding of financial or consulting services is an advantage; a relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with sales operations, including CRM usage, pipeline management and reporting.
