Finance Intern

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking a Finance Intern to join its Bamenda office in Cameroon. The intern will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and will gain exposure to the financial operations of a leading humanitarian organization.

Key responsibilities

• Archive all accounting documents in accordance with DRC’s filing standards (approximately 60% of the role).
• Ensure proper organization and easy retrieval of financial records.
• Assist the Support Services Coordinator with routine finance tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to finance, accounting, or a similar field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Interest in working within the humanitarian and non‑profit sector.
